I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2001 and a Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in 2015. I am certified to teach K-8 (all subjects), K-12 Special Education, and 6-12 English. Throughout my career, I have taught kindergarten, 6th grade Social Studies & English, 9th Grade Reading & Math Intervention, CCI English & Math, Inclusion English I, and now English I and English I Honors. I am also one of the sponsors of the Coffee County Beta Club. I love teaching and helping students to reach their learning goals!
I have 2 children, Jacob (21) and Samantha (11). We enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, kayaking, and camping. We also adore our dog, Sally Mae. Other interests include reading (of course) and home improvement projects.
