I have been teaching 20+ years.  It is my passion to educate in order to expand knowledge and increase opportunities.  I also have certifications in English and Special Education.  I am a proud alumni of Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU).

I have a spoiled but adorable cat, three nieces and a nephew who are awe-inspiring, and three amazing grandchildren - all of whom are growing up way too quickly! 

I love to read - mainly mystery/suspense.  A few of my favorite reads are Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter, Paws and Claws series, and the All Souls series. 

I enjoy time to rest and recuperate through cruising the Caribbean!  A few of my favorite ports are Aruba, Curacao, St. Thomas, Bermuda and the Grand Cayman Islands.
